Covid-19 Intervention: advocating for improved health services for citizens
As part of its Covid intervention, the government awarded contracts for the renovation of hospitals and healthcare facilities in some Nigerian states. With support from the Innovation for Change Africa, we visited Adamawa and Kwara states to track some of these projects and how well the government is adhering to their implementation.
Hayija Magaji shared the story of how she and her medical team had to deliver a new baby while being drenched by rain in the labour room of Pakata/Ubandawaki Primary Healthcare Centre, Kwara.
